Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager to lead the review of individual income tax returns (Form 1040). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in U.S. individual taxation, excellent technical skills, and proven experience managing client relationships and tax staff.

Responsibilities

• Review complex Form 1040 individual income tax returns prepared by tax associates and seniors.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, discuss tax strategies, and resolve issues.
• Stay current with IRS regulations, tax law changes, and planning strategies.
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities for high-net-worth individuals and business owners.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of client services.
• Manage multiple client engagements and meet strict deadlines during tax season.

Requirements:

• CPA license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation is a plus).
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on individual taxation.
• Strong understanding of Form 1040, related schedules, and tax planning for individuals.
• Experience with tax software such as ProSystem fx, Lacerte, or UltraTax.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Salary: $140,000 – $150,000
