Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years’ of experience of professional tax experience

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager with a specialization in construction industry clients. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of construction accounting practices, including job cost accounting, percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, and contractor-specific reporting requirements. This role will involve leading audit engagements, managing client relationships, and mentoring staff within a dynamic and growing practice.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for construction contractors and related entities.
  • Review complex accounting transactions, including percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, retainage, change orders, and WIP schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex real estate tax engagements for a diverse client portfolio (including REITs, partnerships, and private real estate funds).
  • Advise clients on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, like-kind exchanges (1031), cost segregation, opportunity zones, and partnership structures.
  • Maintain deep technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations relevant to the real estate industry.
