Accounts Payable Accountant

A high-profile entrepreneur is seeking an AP Accountant to support the day-to-day operations of their personal and business entities. This is a key role within a tight-knit, high-performing accounting team that values accuracy, discretion, and collaboration.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you’ll handle the full AP cycle, liaise with vendors, and assist with a variety of administrative and reporting tasks. There’s also room to cross-train in other areas of accounting as the team continues to grow.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounts payable process across multiple entities
• Communicate with vendors, resolve discrepancies, and process payments
• Reconcile credit card activity and prepare monthly expense reports
• Organize and maintain digital records; assist with 1099 filings
• Jump in on other accounting and administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 3 years of experience in full-cycle AP, bookkeeping, or general accounting
• Experience supporting high-net-worth individuals or private entities is a plus
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with QuickBooks, Bill.com, and ERP systems preferred
• Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Committed to confidentiality and professionalism

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000
