Tax Staff – Generalist Tax Role

Tax Staff

We are seeking two Tax Staff Accountants to join our growing tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals looking to gain well-rounded experience in a generalist tax role. You will work with a diverse set of clients including individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, and trusts—supporting tax preparation, planning, and compliance under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals and business entities.
• Assist with tax projections, extensions, and estimated tax calculations.
• Conduct basic tax research and support senior team members in tax planning projects.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of client deliverables.
• Maintain organized client documentation in a secure and compliant manner.
• Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues in person and via email.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required); pursuing CPA is a plus.
• 1–3 years of public accounting or related tax experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and exposure to tax concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax software (experience with ProSystem fx, CCH Axcess, or similar tools is a plus).
