Responsibilities:

• Review Individual, S-Corp, C-Corp, Partnership, Estate, Trust, and Non-Profit tax returns.
• Manage and oversee the tax team.
• Review financial records, such as prior tax return forms, income statements, and expenditures, to determine the documents needed to prepare returns.
• Review and analyze budgets and cash flows.
• Participate in non-traditional engagements with accountants, attorneys, and other staff as assigned.
• Review year-end adjusting entries and working trial balance.
• Oversee corporate year-end closeouts, including payroll.
• Ensure timeliness and effective communication for proper planning of projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience.
• Experience with tax-related software for tax preparation and research (i.e., CCH Axcess, Lacerte, Go Systems, BNA Tax Software, etc.).

Salary: $90,000 – $150,000+ (DOE)
