Regional Office Managing Director

Our client is one of the nation’s largest professional service firms and they are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and entrepreneurial Office Managing Director to join the team!

This opportunity is multi-faceted with high visibility to collaborate with the partners, service line/practice leaders, and executive leadership.

This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly billing alongside the Office Managing Partner.
  • Collections and account receivable.
  • Manage office-related budgets for charitable contributions, sponsorships, and office events.
  • Coordinate with firm leadership to monitor and track budget versus actual expenditures on a monthly basis.
  • Manage vendor contracts and negotiate favorable terms when necessary to recognize cost savings to the firm.
  • Lead initiative with firm operations to prepare monthly reporting package and review of KPIs.
  • Support HR/Learning & Development teams as needed by ensuring office compliance with firmwide training and development of client-facing and non-client-facing professionals.

Requirements:

  • 10 – 12 years of administrative/operational experience in a professional services environment, preferably with an accounting services firm.
  • Extensive experience with managing a team and direct reports.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completed coursework from an accredited college/university is highly preferred.
  • Ability to proactively troubleshoot problems, ask questions for clarification, and understand when to escalate.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (especially Excel), web-based research skills, and ability to learn firm-wide applications and technology packages.
  • Proficiency with Axcess, XCM, Dynamics, and STAR are a plus.
