Audit Manager or Senior Manager

We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to lead assurance engagements across a diverse client base. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for managing engagements, supervising staff, and building strong client relationships, all while maintaining a high standard of technical quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of the audit process: planning, fieldwork, reporting, and wrap-up.
• Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and management letters for accuracy and compliance with professional standards.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff and senior associates through coaching and performance feedback.
• Ensure engagements are completed on time and within budget.
• Maintain and grow strong client relationships by serving as a point of contact and trusted advisor.
• Stay current with accounting standards (GAAP), auditing standards (GAAS), and industry-specific guidance.
• Identify and communicate accounting and audit issues to clients and internal leadership.
• Support business development activities and participate in firm initiatives as needed.

Requirements:

• CPA license required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 6+ years (Manager) / 8+ years (Senior Manager) of progressive audit experience in public accounting, with a focus on construction clients.
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and construction-specific accounting issues.
• Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience leading audit teams and managing client relationships.

Salary: $102,500 – $121,000
