Tax Senior
Join a respected and forward-thinking CPA firm located in Century City as a Tax Senior. This is a full-time position offering a hybrid schedule requiring four days a week in the office. The ideal candidate will support tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth individuals and real estate partnerships. This opportunity provides direct mentorship from experienced Managers and visibility into full-cycle client engagements, within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, real estate partnerships, and investment entities
- Assist in tax planning strategies for real estate developers, property managers, and family groups
- Collaborate with Managers and Partners to ensure accuracy and timeliness of tax filings
- Engage in year-round client communication and relationship management
- Participate in training and mentorship of junior team members
- Contribute to team meetings and process improvement initiatives
- Maintain working knowledge of tax laws and industry best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA license or progress toward obtaining CPA
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting, with emphasis in tax
- Experience with high-net-worth clients and real estate preferred
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work four days per week in the office
