Tax Manager

Our client located in Encino, is a CPA firm known for its work life balance. The firm works closely with high-net-worth individuals, estates, trusts, and privately held businesses to deliver expert tax planning and compliance services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and review complex tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships, and corporations
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor
• Lead tax planning and research efforts for high-net-worth clients and closely held businesses
• Supervise, mentor, and train staff and senior accountants
• Monitor engagement budgets and schedules to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
• Stay current on tax law changes and industry best practices
• Contribute to business development and internal process improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• CPA license required
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (master’s in taxation a plus)
• 5+ years of recent public accounting experience, with significant tax expertise
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and California tax laws
• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and private businesses
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Proficient in tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, Lacerte, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
