Audit & Assurance Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit & Assurance Manager to lead audit engagements, ensure the highest quality of service, and build strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in audit standards, financial reporting, and risk management, along with the ability to manage teams and complex projects effectively.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and manage audit and assurance engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across industries.
- Oversee the completion of audit procedures, review working papers, and ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, ISA).
- Lead fieldwork, including supervising and coaching audit teams to ensure work is of high quality and delivered on time.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for engagement-related matters.
- Identify and communicate accounting, auditing, and business issues to clients and internal management teams.
- Provide technical guidance on complex accounting and audit matters, staying current with regulatory updates.
- Assess and improve internal controls, risk management processes, and operational effectiveness for clients.
- Support the firm’s business development efforts by identifying client needs and proposing relevant solutions.
- Contribute to the development and mentoring of junior staff through training, feedback, and evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and professional standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or EA certification required.
- 6+ years of relevant audit experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting frameworks (IFRS, US GAAP) and auditing standards.
- Experience with audit tools and methodologies (e.g., Caseware, IDEA, or similar software).
- Exceptional project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
Salary: $120,000 – $150,000
