Tax Supervisor - Peninsula Area
Summary:
Responsibilities will include tax compliance in the areas of individual, partnership, corporate, trusts, estates and not-for-profit. Industries include real estate, investment companies, professional service companies, hi-tech, manufacturing, distribution and not-for-profit organizations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of recent public accounting experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Masters Degree in Accounting or Tax
- CPA preferred
- Strong client relationships skills
- Strong team management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Excellent business acumen and appropriate industry knowledge
- Ability to work both independently & within a team environment
- Must successfully pass a background check
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Manage day-to-day client and team relationships
- Work closely with engagement partner and staff to meet client expectations
- Seek opportunities to be creative and innovative in serving clients
- Keep current on applicable professional standards
- Responsible for accurate & timely monthly client billings
- Participate in recruitment, business planning and retention initiatives
