Tax Supervisor - Peninsula Area

Our client is a leading regional public accounting firm in the San Francisco Bay Area providing a wide variety of financial services to a diversified, prestigious clientele specializing in audit, compliance, estate planning, consulting and litigation support services.

Summary:

Responsibilities will include tax compliance in the areas of individual, partnership, corporate, trusts, estates and not-for-profit. Industries include real estate, investment companies, professional service companies, hi-tech, manufacturing, distribution and not-for-profit organizations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of recent public accounting experience
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Masters Degree in Accounting or Tax
  • CPA preferred
  • Strong client relationships skills
  • Strong team management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Excellent business acumen and appropriate industry knowledge
  • Ability to work both independently & within a team environment
  • Must successfully pass a background check

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Manage day-to-day client and team relationships
  • Work closely with engagement partner and staff to meet client expectations
  • Seek opportunities to be creative and innovative in serving clients
  • Keep current on applicable professional standards
  • Responsible for accurate & timely monthly client billings
  • Participate in recruitment, business planning and retention initiatives

Salary: 80,000+
