Audit Manager - Los Angeles
Job Description
The candidate should have a command of GAAP, unique or specialized accounting principles, and financial statement presentations. In addition, the successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit and review procedures and techniques. Candidate will assume responsibility for efficiently supervising financial reporting engagements. Responsibilities include developing quality client relationships, supervising senior and staff level accountants, and communicating engagement status to Firm principals.
Education - B.S. in Accounting, M.S.A. or M.B.A. in accountancy desirable.
Experience
- SIX YEARS RECENT experience in PUBLIC accounting.
- CPA certification.
- Superior supervision and review skills.
- In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards.
- Ability to provide staff training and development.
- Engagement planning and control skills.
- Superior communication skills.
- Group presentation skills, such as teaching internal CPE classes or presentations to clients.
